CRL Ultraviolet Adhesive is a medium viscosity adhesive that cures when exposed to ultraviolet light. Tough, durable bonds can be formed with excellent adhesion to glass and metal. Ideal for gluing on Glass Door Knobs or Metal Towel Bars in frameless shower door installations. Also used in making all-glass showcases, glass shelves, and furniture. 1.69 fluid ounces (50 milliliters) of adhesive is stored in a black 4 fluid ounce bottle, for adhesive stability and to ensure a longer shelf life. The adhesive cures within seconds upon exposure to ultraviolet light to form a transparent bond. The speed of the cure will depend on the UV intensity as measured at the product surface, as well as the coating depth. CRL3UV has an outstanding ability to cure through large gaps and to cure to a hard, dry surface that is transparent. Cat. No. CRL7528 Cleaner and Degreaser is offered for optimum glass preparation, and removal of dirt and grease.
