A one-piece, integral unit, CRL Star Pin Grip Masonry Anchors consist of a slotted, bored aluminum body, and a knurled stainless steel pin. When the pin is driven in flush with the rivet head, the shield's bottom expands, exerting a powerful gripping pressure to the sides of the drilled hole.
